Sandra is a (girl) name of Greek origin that means "defender", "helper of mankind". We think that's quite fitting.
It works along the lines of other Windows utilities, however it tries to go beyond them and show you more of what's really going on. Good News! Windows Live Skydrive (formerly Windows Live Folders) is now available in the United States in English and Spanish, Great Britain, and India! You will not be able to access the Live Skydrive site if you are outside these markets. We look forward to growing into further markets in the future!
When you sign in to Windows Live Skydrive, you're in charge. For each folder you create, you choose who has access to it. Add new folders, rename them, or change who has access at any time.
Always where you need them
- 500 MB of free online storage, available from any computer with Internet access.- Create personal, shared, and public folders -- you decide who has access to each folder.
- Skydrive work well on any Windows or Macintosh computer with Firefox 1.5 or higher, or Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher.

Yes folks, it is the end of an era -- or at least, the end of this blog as we know it. Our Social Software coverage has been subsumed by a larger entity, although without the usual acquisition rumours, inebriated launch party (complete with Flickr RSS feed) or sudden influx of VC money. Our own Download Squad will be proudly taking over coverage of news in the social software space, so tune in over there for your daily fix; set your new bookmarks to the Social Software category or the main Download Squad site, and reorient your voracious newsreaders to the Social Software RSS feed and/or the Download Squad main RSS feed.

IsoBuster can rescue lost files from a bad or trashed CD or DVD or a Blu Ray disc (e.g. BD or HD DVD). Save important documents, precious pictures or video from the family, your only system backup, etc.
